VMod Consulting LLC works with families of individuals whose mobility is compromised. VMod Consulting will help families find the most appropriate and cost effective vehicle and vehicle modifications to safely transport their family member.
VMod Consulting LLC will complete a personalized need assessment. Although choices of vehicles and types of modifications are extensive, only specific combinations work together. Working with families, the options will be discussed so they can make an informed decision. Recommendations are sent to the referring agency for processing and ultimately implementation. The following are considerations:
· Sedans, mini-vans, full size vans, SUV, pick-up trucks.
· Ramps, lifts, safety restraints, specialized seats.
· Wheelchair hoists, etc.
The goal is to provide as much independence and freedom of mobility for the individual to fully participate in all desired actives at school, work, play, and leisure.

About Me
Beth Tarduno, MEd, OTR/L— I have over 13 years of completing safe-passenger assessments for clients needing vehicle modifications. I advocate for client needs while maintaining a strong ethical perspective on appropriate recommendations. Supporting families throughout the entire process to obtain their modified vehicle is a high priority.

Steps to Begin the Process
Case Manager is to complete the referral form and E-mail it to vmodconsulting@gmail.com or fax to 585-271-7226.
The family will be contacted for an initial intact evaluation. After a release of information form is completed, an assessment will be scheduled with the client.
I will guide the family to assist me in gathering information for a comprehensive report that will be sent to the care manager when completed.
VMod Consulting LLC will continue to be available until the completion of the vehicle modification for any consultation as needed. Often a post-modification assessment is required prior to the family obtaining the vehicle.
